my current daily routine

lifestyle

i’m the type of person that thrives on a routine. i have so many directions i want to go, ideas i want to work on, activities to bring the little ones to, work that i need to finish, and goals to accomplish that i need to have it all laid out for me to see and prioritize.

by having a set schedule to follow my mind is able to concentrate on the task at hand because i always know what is coming next, i know i will have time dedicated to everything i would like to finish. our little ones are in beavers, jiu jitsu, competitive dance, piano + gymnastics so we are a busy family.

i am a (mostly) work at home mom, my littlest goes to daycare when i’m meeting a client in person but if i’m working from home he hangs out with me. my schedule is fairly jam packed.

on weekends i have a more relaxed + free schedule. saturday mornings we have another competitive dance class + our oldest will sometimes attend another jiu jitsu if he feels like it. most weekends i work and sometimes i throw in another cardio day. i like to try and use most of our weekends as family time ♥

during the week if a friend or family member wants to get together i will make the time and instead spend time with them (usually the cleaning gets thrown on the back burner for that!) or if the littlest one is extra snugly and needs more attention i’ll make sure he gets all the snuggles he wants.

do you have a schedule for yourself? does it look similar?

  1. I work from home as a mom as well. I tend to do most of my blog stuff in the morning, then work during the day with many breaks in between to take care of the kiddo and get things done. Not sure what it will look like when our new baby is born though!

  2. I have a very fluid schedule. I do plan my day out but it isn’t so set as with your timelines. I get up around 5:30 am and check my emails while the dogs (I have 3 large inside dogs) do their business in the backyard. I get my daughter off to school at 8:45 followed by taking the dogs to the park (weather permitting). From 9:30-3:30 is when I get most of my “work” accomplished, however, the actual schedule varies depending on what day of the week it is.

  3. Having a routine is major. I don’t have to get to work as early as I did with my older job but I see that waking up at 6:30 helps me get my things done for the blog. Waking up early helps me!
